R&D is the hallmark of Essig Research capabilities.  Our dynamic team is driving innovation, improving existing processes and procedures as well as enabling new technology and products across our client base.

  • Material Testing

Our team at Essig will provide comprehensive material testing including material selection, performance and failure analysis.

Based on Industrial and Aviation Specifications our team creates Material Test Plans for aviation hardware. Each plan contains a listing of material coupons, buttons and strips that are then put through several tests for material integrity, which may include tensile tests, shear tests and compression tests of processed engine hardware.

  • Process Development

Essig has established a process development program that enables a smooth and quick transition from the product development cell to a production cell and end product delivery. Our process engineers work to identify and deploy consistent and repeatable processes to support the cross-functional R&D team.
